I may be celebrating my birthday soon….

My mom sent me my kindergarten graduation picture. Hilarious!

And my parents sent me a birthday card that included my Kindergarten graduation picture. They are too funny. (You can actually see the beginning of my Vitiligo, look at my white eyelashes! Ha!). I also invited a bunch of my friends to go out to dinner at a local Ethiopian restaurant! 13 people RSVPed yes!! Bah! This will be so fun.

Weekly Meal Plan (post spring fling)

Hey fellow Burlesquers,

I am trying to make some lifestyle changes, including planning my weekly meals. Has this worked for anyone? I’m trying to avoid the usual, “I am tired. Let’s eat out!” or “I have no ingredients…Kraft Mac N Cheese for dinner (again)!” And I am actually excited to try Monday night’s meal–I saw it on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! I’ll update you on how these recipes stack up by the end of the week. Cheers!

Monday: Spaghetti Squash with Buffalo Mozzarella and Vegetables (Spaghetti Squash Primavera)

Tuesday: Steak and Potato Salad

Wednesday: Easy Sole Meuniere with Steamed Green Beans

Thursday: Turkey burgers and Salad

Friday:  No meal planned. Date Night with Ron!

Saturday: Spicy Thai Tofu with Red Bell Peppers and Peanuts

Sunday: Flatbread Pizza with Pesto, Tomato, and Buffalo Mozzarella (and greens)
