  1. I am really digging what you have going on here. We would love to use some of your recipes with full credit to you of course and links back to your blog. Maybe you could think of some rockabilly recipes, especially with cup cakes, oohh yummy. We are a fairly small blog and currently are getting around 13,000 hits per day, but it is growing. Let us know if its ok. :)

    • First: thank you so much for the compliment! I’ve been having alot of fun with this blog! And I love being able to communicate with so many people in so many different communities. Really fabulous.

And second, I’d be delighted if you used some of my recipes! In fact, when I first saw your blog and then read your comments, I thought, “Strawberry Country cake and good old-fashioned Whiskey Frosting. Mmmm!” I can brainstorm a couple rockabilly-themed recipes over the weekend? Or, you can email me whenever! Talk to you soon!

    • Thanks, Barbara!! I am a new blogger, and this has been a great new hobby for me. It’s helping me be more creative in the kitchen (trying new recipes), and I really like that I am beginning to make my own beauty products (this is a new thing). Can’t wait to read more of your blog. Cheers!

    • Thanks for stopping by, Dianne! Yes, my personal blog isn’t fully Paleo–in fact, my blog used to be everything but Paleo. Cookies, breads, and more! However, I just recently underwent some health issues and changed the direction of my cooking to a variety of Paleo and Primal-inspired meals, which I mention in my “about” section. Because this is my personal blog, this tracks my personal lifestyle changes, and I am only now venturing into changing my eating patterns. As mentioned in my “about” section, I am only loosely-following a Paleo diet. Stop in again soon!

  2. thanks for clarifying, i am so busy i didn’t read all the way through. we are taking your popover recipe and substituting tapioca starch for the flour and whole milk for the milk you have. if they turn out well may i let you know so you can try it too?

  3. ok, so we made your recipe but just substituted tapioca flour the all purpose flour in your recipe and they came out GREAT. We are so happy to figure this out, and we appreciate having your traditional recipe as the framework for our experiments!

    • Hurray! I am so glad to hear it turned out. I actually love popovers–I am going to have to try making them now myself! And do you like that I changed the name of my blog? After your comment, I realized I should be more clear about my cooking direction. Cheers!
